Interesting concept and a great way to have people pause before they buy. But would people really walk around with their "boil-over" figure in their mind and say "oh, this purchase would/would not be covered, along with all my other monthly expenses, by my disability insurance, or my life insurance policy, or my personal emergency fund..." ?

@MissJenni2642... That was a serious question?
You could have a couple of months emergency living expenses as saving and not have those unnecessary debt repayments, so that you actually have a chance of getting another JOB before you lose your car, house, etc etc. If losing your job is the end of the *world*, then your world is gonna end at some point in your life.
You can PLAN for that stuff.

I really appreciate her.

People c an make fun of her and how she sounds all they want, but America and the world in general need to listen and take her words to heart. Look at the mess the US economy is in now, spending money we do not have and a debt left to burden future generations. God Bless Suzie!
